A while back, when I was looking for a way to make, create, push...myself, without constantly finding the negative, the "worst" thing that could happen, a wall...I met people who were flourishing, and I was able to play with them. See them. Hear them. It made me realize....It's up to me, to hold my own, lean round corners, and shine my light on whatever it is that might be around that corner showing itself...allowing me to use it...allowing me to feel it, and just swoop it and set it down someplace that gives it life in this place. Now reachable. Tape. It makes me plump with satisfaction.

I started this project in 2005 with the hopes to make my friend Steven start a solo project and know that, even though I didnt know how to play a single instrument I used on the 1st demo, that it could be done, and even more, that it could be a fun thing to do. Start to finish. That demo still exists in the world, where? other then my copy...I'll never know. For 6 years that was the extent of this project. In 2011 after a few years of going all over, touring and playing with other bands, I decided to start writing more music. Now 5 years later, Ive started a label called 'Men Drink Men' and released 26 cassettes, 2 zines and counting. I feel very fortunate to be able to keep doing this, and I will continue to do so, till they take me away. Thanks to everyone who has hosted my friends and I, belived in me, and supported me in all the ways that are possible. I couldnt ask for more.
